Drawn

Drawn up to a realm

beyond what I can see,

pulled by a yearning

deep within me.

For when my mind is quieted

and I gaze up at the sky,

I have a definite knowing,

there is One greater than I.

Who calls to my heart

and fills my questioning mind,

with the truth, “If you seek,

you surely shall find.”

Thus, I am drawn to a Person,

not a place or a creed,

to the only One

Who can fill my great need,

To be loved and forgiven

‘tho I am stained dark with sin.

Drawn into my Maker

Who is the Way to come in.
